Does this just happen in a turn?

No sir,as a matter of fact,it has never or I have never noticed it in a turn, only on straight aways and only when you let off the throttle suddenly. Applying the brakes seems to bring it back alright. It kind of feels like when you have a really low tire or flat or kinda like when you run through deep sand if ya know what I mean.

Makes no sense to me unless it has something to do with the weight shifting forward onto the front wheels.

Perhaps puttig some weight over the rear wheel would help.

Check out the rear wheel alignment and see if it is tracking straight.

An old motorcycles rule of thumb. If the back end feels odd, check out the front end and vice versa. My Dad's old BMW was doing some weird rear end antics that turned out to be a sticky front brake. You might have a front tire softening up or one of the front wheels is loose.
Edit: I just saw your post over at Doc. Yes a sidewind on a scooter will create all sorts of spooky motions. I almost got blown off the road once on mine.

Hey folks, sorry that I haven't posted in awhile, The truth of it all is that I" been so danged busy with work and deaths in the family that I haven't even had very many chances to ride ANY of my scooters,I now have 5 of them and have gotten to ride NONE of them in the last month or two. I plan to hopefully start riding and finish up plans for the new scooter club, hopefully it will be started and we'll have time for a few rides this fall before it gets too awfully cold. Myself I'm still gonna try to ride even when it gets cold. well that's the update so far L/Gs. daddue11

Thank you Rebel. I do know that it's just part of the circle of life, but, You know, like my wife says"When you lose close friends or family it seems to make the world just a little bit smaller." I've found that to be coming true for me. I'm trying to start new friendships and new eras for my small family to try and expand that world. I know my wife is feeling the smallness big time since her bloodline ends with her and there is only two brothers left and one has terminal cancer. That's the reason for the new scooter club, new friends, new relationships, new adventures, new memories and just maybe broader horizons with bigger world. I've always had a dream of starting a scooter club, but now I have more reason to.

You are so right.
My parents tell me that they have almost no friends left at all. They are at a place in their life that most of what they do is to go to their doctors appointments and the church that they go to is down to a handful of members left, really it is under ten members.
My wife just lost her best friend and that friends husband is a total shut in at this time in his life. It is sad when we get to that stage in our life. As you say the world gets smaller.

I'm gonna do my very best to keep it from getting that way. the last 10 yrs we've dedicated our lives and a big chunk of our money to our work at the shelter for victims of domestic violence and it's a wonderful cause, but so is MY family, and now's the time to start saving time and money for ourselves. We have few pleasures in life and worked so hard for the family buisiness and that's now taken over by a board of directors that can only say"Yes you've built this company and sacrificed everything, but, what have you done for us lately?" So now It's draw a paycheck and the weekends are for miller time. barbeque and cook outs and SCOOTERS and FUUUUUNNNN.
