Well yes, it will just burn off.
This is one of the reasons I've always scratched my head at doing this. I had a friend in high school who was the son of a auto shop teacher, after high school he became a mechanic. I noticed that his car was smoking and said something to him about it. The explanation I got was that he would sometimes put a gallon of diesel fuel in his tank at a fill up, trying to do the same thing you are, lubricate the top end.
Scratching my head I thought, Hmmm how's it gonna do that.
Fuel goes into the combustion chamber and gets burned off, it does not go up to a valve stem or valve guide in large quantity. I just don't grasp how it can do it. On the other hand for decades people have been doing the same thing with Marvels Mystery Oil and swearing by it. I just don't think you are putting enough in to do much.

It does nothing for the piston, valves, What it will do is gum up your fuel system, carb, jets etc.

Yes rebel its the --on the other hand you mention that has me wondering.
if running rich lubs the piston, then a few drops of 2 cycle oil on a rich burn should not make it worse.
I see 20,000 xingyues out there, i want mine to be same.
Snake doctor I am --endeavoring to persevere, so is it that only running rich on straight gas preserves a engine and a few drops of oil will make it worse?

CHECKED PLUG AGAIN TO DAY, NO SLUDGE BUILD UP
But we are having very cool days, and i am burning almost no oil, 4 weeks ago I had to put in about 3 table spoons every 10 days.

I think you would be better off to use Marvel Mystery oil in your gas than 2 stroke oil, just because of its track record. The concentration is 4 ounces to ten gallons of gas btw. If you are going to keep using the 2 stroke oil, I'd go with that concentration too.
As far as top end lube goes, I am much more able to believe that it might lube the top ring on the piston than the valves.

lubricating top ring and piston was the goal.
ALSO WANT TO WARN YOU, I CAME ACROSS A TEST STUDIE FOR PUTTING BORIC ACID IN THE GAS!!!!!
maybe coming soon to a movie theater near you.

I ran street two strokes for years. The only place they sludged up was in the exhaust baffles. Two stroke oil is meant to burn, unlike regular motor oil. Running minimal amounts won't hurt and yes, it should lower combustion temperatures. My mufflers on my two strokes never got anywhere near as hot as my four strokes.

kz1000st THANKS
I was told the two stroke in small amounts had lowered temp without real power loss, to re-correct a earlier post, i am certain now of lower temps 4-7 degrees and plug shows no sign of gunk.
