Time for a update : no major issues, having fun riding. several long trips to Jacksonville and back. Aprox 60 miles. Its about time to do a complete inspection. I want to take everything off and check like when I did the PDI. I am getting some noise from the rear wheel and I suspect the rear wheel bearing. so I want to remove the wheel and inspect . Now that gas is on the rise I am enjoying my scooter even more. No regrets on buying this China scoot!

Good to hear it is being fun for you. That rear wheel noise definitely needs checking out. One person I spoke with had something come loose back their and pretty well ruined the case.

Another check in: 4500 kl on the clock, Still runing great. Still have the noise in the rear wheel but its not bad. I need to do a self service on it but I can't stay off of it long enough. I ride it just about every day. Its the perfect vehicle here in St. Augustine. My 15 MPG 2000 Jeep Sahara stays in the driveway unless its raining and this year thats not often. The people who say these chinese scooters are junk don't know squat!

Texas, six or seven years ago there was a real quality issue with a lot of the chinascoots. Quality has improved and there has been a thinning of the heard with some of the poorest quality names going away. Saadly some of.the decent names have also gone away.

I am in the process of buying this exact model. Texas, I was wondering how hard and how long did it take you to put the scooter together when you recieved it. Saw the pictures but it did not show how long or hard it was to do. Would love to know.

Jomarkpro, It was not hard for me at all. I consider myself competent with my tools and I feel this is a requirement. The PDI is the all important thing with these scooters. If you do not do that expect to have trouble. And it does not matter how long it takes you to do, work at your own pace.

Time for a update: Still loving my scooter! I finally found the noise in the rear. It seems that the exhaust mount bracket was cracked where the bolt goes through to the swing arm. I fixed by putting a flat piece of steel from the mounting hole on the swing arm to the bolt on the bottom of the shock. then I drilled a hole through the mounting bracket and the added piece of steel and put a bolt through it. That supports the exhaust better and gave the scooter a solid feel on that side. Problem solved. I now have 9000 kilometers and the tires are wore out. I stripped her plastic and I am going through looking for any problems. Trying to decide on which tire want to stay under forty dollars. considering the Kendra 413. 160/30/13

Thank for the update, 9000 kilos would be a bit over 6000 miles I think, so you are getting you monies worth out of the ride.

texas
great pdi , ride and tell story.
if i had that bike i would buy the best bulbs to reduce maintenance.
when it starts burning oil, start using boron, it will after 5 changes burn less then when you got it.
ride safe and wise.

Ok, wanted to update on the inspection. Installed two Shinko tires, two new bearings for the rear axle in swingarm, adjusted the valves, inspected the belt and wrote down the belt size, changed the oil, inspected the front bearings, inspected the brake pads front and rear, checked for rust, upgraded the battery to a small motorcycle battery and relocated it to under the seat, and I inspected the air cleaner. Put it all back togeather and took it on a 40 mile test drive. All good.
