So the Mrs's quits her job this morning. RV Sales is in the tank good time...she was making less then the guy at McDonald's salting the french fries.
So the local Honda/Yamaha dealer is having a bit of a sale...free food..etc. Went on down there on the Bali two up...was like attending a funeral. They had a Majesty and Tmax deeply discounted.
Got home the Mrs's starts jabbering about how she wants to go to all the places I've been going...wants to have the 'summer of her lifetime'.
She's finally decided she would rather ride on back rather then drive herself.
So we wander off to a couple of 'Super Stores'..I was on tippy toes on a Burgmen 650 and Kymco Xciting. Tmax was a bit high as well. I was okay with a Majesty but she didn't like the foot rests at all.
Narrowed it down to a Burgman 400 ABS and a Silverwing ABS. Mrs's was insistant on the ABS.
Parking brake on the burgman was nice..as well as the emergency flashers. Seat on the wing was more comfortable for both me and my Mrs's. an extra 200 cc's and twin cylinders didn't hurt either.
So tomorrow..at high noon..I'll be a wing owner...then gonna run Mt Rainier with the Mrs's on back.

Dunno how fast it goes JR...ain't cracked the throttle past 1/4, would lose Mama....cheap Honda speedo was showing 75 MPH or something. I thinks it's a bit high. Was distracted...Mrs's blathering on in my ear some nonsense about 'slow down'. I think she believe's these cheap japanese speedo's. Salesmen said something about 100+ MPH...I asked him if he knew Jake...apparently he has a cousin named Jake.
Went thru the twisties...posted speed limit 20 MPH...stupid speedometer was reading 35.
In any case...Mrs's is happy...cooking me up some sweet potato fries...a T-Bone...and a bit of gravy on the side.

OK, I think for the interest in fair treatment, you need to confirm the speed with a gps, and was that going downhill or off a cliff? Now you said Jake sold this to you? Jake said it would go 100 mph. And who did the work on the motor anyway, Hmmmm?

LOL
There is a bit of a speedo error. 2-3 MPH at 40 MPH. So it's not just Cheap Chinese scooters with speedo errors. I'll probably never find out how fast it goes. it might be safe to do a bit over 80 MPH on I-5 south of Tacoma or north of Everett.

Nice pick on your new scooter. I would have got the Tmax but thats just my .02 Tmax is a nice bike too. Mama ruled it out for lack of seat elevation. She wanted to be able to see over me. Seat height was a tad high for me as well.

Sweet looking ride Harry! Just don't foresake the Bali, in the name of Big, Fast, and RELIABLE... ;D It's a tool for a job kliff. I got a 3/8" impact driver and a 1/2" impact wrench. The 3/8" works a treat for screwing down decking and sheetrock. The 1/2" will snap the head off of anything less then a lagbolt. My Bali is what it is...nothing wrong with it..just not gonna carry me and the Mrs's on I-90 thru Snoqualmie pass as 75 MPH.

Yea But there still is Ralph to talk too with the Great White telephone!! LOL The Great White Telephone is to be avoided...if you had labeled your Sweet Potato Mash that was sitting near your still properly I wouldn't have had to call Ralph. How was I to know it was 100 proof. Arkies...never put warning labels on their shine.
