Good review so far Moto . Seems to be a cool scoot. Dual shocks, a voltmeter, gas tank under the floorboard, Is the gas tank obvious? I would love to see people looking all over it trying to figure out were to put the gas Dont forget to make sure its in neutral before adjusting the idle...lol

Scootertronics must be reading this thread, they now spec it out with 12 inch wheels.

Not that hard to find if you have the key and it uses a larger vacuum fuel pump to suck the fuel up to the carburetor. On my 150 I had to bypass this setup with a electric fuel pump and regulator. Im afraid if I remove the air box on this one and replace it with a UNI filter that I will loose the vacuum pressure needed to maintain fuel pressure. My wifes scooter has the floorboard gas tank as well and I am thinking about stealing Kliffs fuel filter idea as it tends to starve when its idling for a few minutes and you have to pump it a little to keep the system primed. Maybe a fuel filter with a larger reservoir will reduce these symptoms

Just a thought Jeremy, but back in the day, we were using basicly the same fuel pumps on out alcohol Briggs engines in Kart racing, and instead of the intake pulse, we "Tee'd" off the crankcase breather, and used the cylinder pulse instead. We had stcok, vacu/pulse pumps producing flow rates of up to 1 gallon a minute, unresricted on 1/4" line, but at only about 1-1.5psi, with no regulator. All it would cost is a plastic "T" and some line to try it out. But I'll bet ya a dollar to a do-nut, it'll cure all the vacu-pulse pump delivery problems!

No I have not I just do not have time, I spend most of my time helping those who got a drop shipped scooter and it will not run they can not getparts as far as the Ruckus clone instead of saying it had 12" wheels I said 10 because we had not received any and sense I can not trust anyone in this biz I always wait till I have the scoot running in my shop, this is a killer scooter and sold out of first shipment just on BO and local sales, we took it to the scooter races Sat and it sure turned heads plus SRC had its first lay down of a scoot on the track pretty crazy so anyway if we wanted to drop-ship I am sure we could deliver in 5 days which I did from 2003-2005., scootertronics was on the net in 2003

Scootermike,
Thanks for posting. And this is a great looking scooter. Is a 150cc version something we can look forward to?
I assure you that the comment about monitoring the thread was not meant to be a slam (we are such a huge major forum I know the scooter community comes to us for all the trends and information, just kidding I hope you know) , I am glad that you did fix the spec on the wheels, we all know how inaccurate some of the information that comes out from the factories can be. Those of us that have been around for several years have seen it happen everyplace.

No slam at all, most have no ideal what scootertronics has done for the industry not even MRP nor Parts4motorsprts or partsforscooters who all copy and look at my site for new info, no one sells what we sell, our jets are Kehien and Mikuni as well as our fuel pumps, gsmotorworks I did their tech service for 3 years 2003-2006 then they sold the company, look at scootertronics now just image how much I droped for that look
the whole thing with the wheel size and the specs I get ahead of time are never right, our Sport R was to have dual shocks nope sure did not so I had customers mad at me so I stopped till I tested myself. RSS I started with them in 2004
There is a whole other world out there for scooters than drop shipped chinese Roketas which are junk period, everyone runs out to get the 250B with Linhai type engine OMG these are such junk we can do nothing for them, we have in our shop, they re such junk its crazy
I love the Xtreme except for the name and have renamed my first scooter because of it, besides they say GMI on them, know who they are, one of the 635 drop shipping which has ruined many customers and shops, ATVD OMG if you only knew, people slam me so bad why because they bought a scooter and now it will not run and since who they bought it from are useless and I can not help them they blame me
the instruments on Xtreme are real bad, I am working with RSS to fix
How do I drop photos in here

Jeremy, I was hoping that if dealers start asking for it they would produce one, I guess the argument against it would be that their already is a 150cc off road scooter, like the "Rowdy" from Scooter dynasty. scooterdynasty.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=244And by the way, I have no idea how good they are but those gages look excellent to me.

Exactly they already have a quality big ruck clone no sense in reinventing the wheel there. I to would like to see a 150 on the Xtreme but I doubt it happens unless they get a huge amount of response and even then it would take a year to produce and get to market at a minimum.

Keep the reeiw running Jeremy, factual experience is way better than chest beaten rhetorical.
Facts, figures, and real life pics tell the story. More scooters will be sold, even with flaws, from factual info, than the few bad reveiws one may receive from inaccurate sales claims.
Hopefully the industry will soon rally, and support it's dealers with accurate info, and stocking dealers will walk out on their floors and verify sales claims/specs.
I respect that you are trying to get all the pieces in place to open a B&M dealership, and reports like this of bikes you can presently sell, are most appreciated, and will help establish a freindly clietele of repeat customers. It would behoove all dealers to pick up the pace, and run with that example. Don't just repeat the same old sales hype, don't just show us the same old promotional pics.... TEST a bike every now and then, PICS!, Tell us about it, compare the sales hype, to real world...
YOU started the reveiw Jeremy, and with all due respects to others time of service to the scooter industry, years in business.... yadayadayada. YOU are the one with this scoot in your hands, you are the one I want real world info about this scoot from.
Mike, if you want to pull something off your sales floor, and follow suit, I know we'd all be mucho appreciative. But I think berating instruments and such, in someone elses reveiw, is just a bit "tacky."(just a personal observation)
