I ordered 2, 2010 Roketa Bali 250's one in red and one in silver from Extreme-Scooters.com of Warner Robbins GA. I was told if I direct deposited the funds they would ship within 24 hours. 3 days later I called to ask when the scooters would ship and was told the scooters had to be PDIed and there was a problem with the cooling. I waited another 3 days and called to find out the status and was told that I was being unreasonable to expect my scooters when they were promised. The owner Dave B_____
said the last time gas prices went up it was taking as much as 45 days to get a scooter. My question to him was why didn't you tell me about this before I ordered? I waited a couple of days and sent him an email and said I would report him to the BBB and start legal action against him if I didn't get my scooters. He said he would refund my money less 25% restocking fees. I told Dave this wouldn't work because it was him not holding up his end of the bargain. It was now over a week after I was promised that the scooters would ship and Dave said he would send a better scooters if I would accept them. He said he would send 2 MC-54-250Bs in place of the Balis. By this time I was worried I might have to take action to get a refund or my scooters. I was a little leery about this deal but I accepted it any way. About a Week later I got my scooters and I thought all was well and I was very happy. I opened the packing and found 2 blue scooters. By this time I was just happy to get anything and did not complain about the color. I put the scooters together and did the PDI I found on line. Now all I need was my MSOs. They got there about 10 days later and I found out the scooters were not 2010 as promised but 2008 model year. Now this is behind me I love my MC-54-250B and have about 500 miles on it. I just wanted to alert anyone thinking of buying from Extreme-scooters.com what they might be in for.
