lol. does it ride better now? i mean before, you had to be scraping the kickstand every hard left you took. looks like that bigger rear wheel made for more clearance, and you ditched the center stand judging by the looks of it

It vibrates a lot more then she ever did. Still going over it inch by inch and tighting or moving stuff that is vibrating. Im a big guy 250+ so yes she sits up higher wit the 13" back wheel so clearance now is awesome. no more bottoming out on speed bumbs anymore. The center stand was ditched but not cuz i wanted to. On the 50cc the center stand is on the lower part of the motor on the 150 its built into the frame. Im trying to find away to hook it back up as i really do like the center stand from time to time.

can u get a pic of the underside of the scoot? i bet you could weld a mount for the center stand up pretty easy. maybe between all of us we can come up with something

There is a place to weld amount up to. On the 50cc where the engine mount is the tabs are just far enough to do a temp bolt up for the center stand for when I'm working on it. I,ve checked around for someone to weld a bracket in there but the prices some of them want is just plan crazy. We don't have a big scooter following in this county so I cant even convince them to "weld it, and they will come". LOL

How about going to a tool rental place and renting a welder and doing it yourself? Its not hard and plus its kinda fun......

We got one at the shop i work at so I have use of one anytime i want. I've welded before and kind of ok at it. Only prob is I try not to work on scoot at the shop as the boss tries to "help out" and well hes not very good at anything but buying cars. LOL. maybe when I finish school in June and i have more time ill give it a shot. lol

Well, now that you've got you feet with with doing a motor conversion. Think about a Linhai-Yamaha 257cc liquid cooled motor. I thin it uses the same motor mounts as the 150cc does. That would be a ride. That sounds like a sweet upgrade. I haven't seen a source yet. I have a Xingyue ITA150 with the 16" wheels, but I suppose I'd loose the 16" in the rear for that 257cc. I'd be happy with a fuel injected liquid cooled Honda, Echarm, BMS, twin/clone just to nearly double my current HP. Steve

I might have been all wrong but it sure looks similar. I bet a person could adapt it pretty easily if they wanted to, but then you have to get the cooling right too.

I don t expect cooling to be too tough to handle, my front pannels have louvers and vents already. What I've seen of Vespa and other liquid cooled, the radiator is fairly small. The loss of the 16" wheel and rear disk brake would be disappointing. I have been looking but still haven't found a motor for sale anywhere. 260cc and EFI from ecotrons.com would be pretty darn sweet.

You could keep the front 16 inch wheel, you might not have a problem with the disk brake, it may either come with one or be fairly easily adapted.

True. But that seems a bit much work for 32 or so cc's, though every cc is a help. Getting a true 200cc would rock. I dislike the huge rounding errors. That seems very dishonest.
