the hitch is just a pin. the spring allows full range of movement up and down and for twisting. Attachments:

this is what it looks like. i bought the kids bike trailer at a rummage sale, $35. i took all the covers off and this is what is left when all that is gone. i had it up to 35 mph and it pulls nice and straight. i picked up some scrap plywood and some boards from my work and i have the the box done and painted, now i have to assemble that. pics will follow. ruckus trailer is done. i took it to HF and the grocery store this morning. it pulls real nice without any shake or wobble. it was up to 35 mph, that's as fast as the ruck will go. Attachments:

thanks, now on to the next project. not until next week tho. i got a carb rebuild kit for my 85 hog and i think the intake manifold has a small air leak. new gaskets and rubber O-rings are just waiting to get put to work.

Cool little trailer How much stuff can you put in it as far as weight goes?

the bike trailer is rated for 100 lbs. of kids. it was a 2 seater so i'm thinking a few bags of groceries and a 12 can pack will be doable. it bounces around some so eggs and bananas will have to go under the rucks seat.

i had to replace the portawalls on the back tire on my wife's rat rod ruckus. they started to tear at the rim. they are different than the ones i bought a couple of years ago. but i finally figured it out and mama is happy. black wall on the back and whites on the front made her an unhappy rucker.

the battery is shot on my ruck. time for a new one but i'm looking for something that is less than the $80 the last one cost.
